MONETARY SUPPORT

Event Sponsorship:
Gold Sponsor: $1000 = 100 quality backpacks for 7th - 12th graders Silver Sponsor: $500 = new socks and underwear for 40 students Bronze Sponsor: $250 = 3-ring-binders for 80 K-12th graders

Monetary Donations:
Your gift will help purchase school supplies, socks and underwear for students. You can make a donation online using the paypal link below, or you can make a check out to the Center for Human Services and put “Back to School” in the memo line. Checks can be mailed or dropped off at the Center for Human Services, 17018 15th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155

Keep in mind…it costs a family at least:

  • $15 to buy new underwear and socks for a child
  • $35 to buy supplies for a Kindergarten-2nd grader
  • $55 to buy supplies for a 3-6th grader
  • $75 to buy supplies for a 7-12th grader


DONATE ITEMS

You can support the consortium by donating school supplies, books, hygiene products, socks and underwear. Donate as an individual or host a donation drive and collect school supplies at your business, place of worship, book club etc. The consortium would provide you with the essential materials.

DONATE CLOTHING

The WORKS clothing room is seeking donations of new or gently used clothing for children & teens.

Now through June 25th, 2008
High quality gently used or new children's and teen clothing can be dropped off at The WORKS, located in the North City Elementary Portables, 816 NE 190th Street, Shoreline, Wednesday evenings 5-8pm or by appointment by calling Sarah-Ann Woodfield 206-890-1056.

Note: The WORKS will be closed over the summer until August 4th. DO NOT LEAVE DONATIONS AT THE DOOR. (extreme fire hazard)

August 4th - August 23rd
You can call the Back to School Info Line at 206-393-4916 for updated information on special drop off times. A WORKS representative will call you back to arrange a drop off time. Donations will be accepted at The WORKS on the day of the event, August 23rd beginning at 10am.
